Limited edition! This walnut cutting board is handcrafted in only 200 copies a year! This high-end cutting board is a real accessory out of the ordinary! Like an art object, each board has a wafer with the year of its design and its serial number certifying its authenticity and uniqueness.
With this board, the KAIbrand, renowned for its range of Japanese knives,is faithful to its demanding criteria in terms of design and quality. Walnut is a noble wood with a fine and very homogeneous grain, its apparent veining and dark color makes it particularly refined!
It is important to note that this board is designed from a single piece taken from the walnut trunk, so the width can vary. At 5 cm thick, this board is very imposing and stable, it is used as a traditional cutting board or as a meat cutting board (butcher’s log).
It is recommended to clean your wooden planks with hot water after each use, to use a brush if necessary, and especially to wipe them well with a cloth.
For maintenance, clean your board simply with a tasteless and odourless oil (a grape seed oil for example). The wood closes on contact with the oil, forming a protective layer.
